Our insightful GWO Enhanced First Aid course has been compiled to teach personnel within the offshore wind industry the advanced levels of first aid. This can be considered a companion to our traditional first aid course. The GWO Enhanced First Aid training is perfect for anyone who has duties on an offshore installation, where having the skills and knowledge for dealing with unexpected injuries is vital. Book our 3-day GWO Enhanced First Aid course to learn the theoretical and practical elements of offshore first aid. Students can access this course without any previous first aid certification, and two certificates will be issued on completion: GWO First Aid and GWO Enhanced First Aid. The course is delivered by one of our expert instructors – each of which has years of experience working in the offshore industry.

GWO Enhanced First Aid provides students with the knowledge and skills to support and care for others working in the industry. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to administer safe, effective and immediate lifesaving and enhanced first aid measures to save lives and give assistance in remote areas using advanced emergency equipment and medical telecommunication.

The GWO Enhanced First Aid course can be physically demanding and to participate in the training you must be medically fit and capable of participating fully.

You are allowed to bring your own PPE other than that provided by CWind Training. In order to proceed with the GWO Enhanced First Aid course, you must provide a signed self-declaration stating that the equipment you provide is in good condition and relevant inspections are up to date. CWind Training withholds the right to refuse use of equipment if it fails visual inspection from our instructors.
