This GWO Working at Height, Rescue and Manual Handling Combined course is designed to train individuals in correct access and rescue and lifting procedures whilst working at height on wind farms. The course involves theory information in a classroom environment and practical exercises on our dedicated training tower. The theory elements will allow individuals to show a sound understanding of knowledge relevant to working at height and the practical exercises require individuals to demonstrate a variety of access and rescue techniques.
You will spend 4.5 days training in the five elements resulting in a comprehensive knowledge and ability to be responsible for yourself and others, whilst being able to perform emergency procedures in case of rescue or first aid situations. All the courses are tailored to the wind farm environment to offer you the most realistic training available.
Our GWO working at height and manual handling combined course can be physically demanding and to participate in the training you must be medically fit and capable of participating fully.
